MJWC won the “All Quiet on the Green Front” Award, for its Electronic Recycling Program, at the MUA 20th Annual Recycle Awards Dinner on November 2.

The MJWC’s 13th Annual Spelling Bee on Saturday, January 26 was an exciting and successful event. Forty students in the fourth and fifth grades of Hilltop, Mountain View, St. Joseph’s, Mendham Township Elementary and Mendham Township Middle School competed for the chance to go to the District spelling bee, which will be held in Long Valley, February 9th. Congratulations to the winners:
First Place — Jared Geoghan, Mendham Township Middle, 5th grade
Second Place — Paul Flanagan, St. Joseph, 5th grade
Third Place — Angelo Liu, St. Joseph, 4th grade

The club's fall Blood Drive was the most successful yet! MJWC collected 98 pints of blood and completed 44 screenings for bone marrow.

The November Food Drive resulted in 143 meals for needy families in Morris County.

Winter Marketplace offered holiday shopping, carnival games, bake sale, photos with Santa, and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be donated to community organizations.

Schiff Spa Night helped to raise $640! The funds will support Schiff’s environmental education and local outreach efforts.

Over 100 coats were collected during the club's Coat Drive. The coats were donated to the Morris County Youth Shelter and Morristown Soup Kitchen.
